World On Fire Review

I really wanted to like World on Fire and I am not ready to give up on it just yet. However, I can’t say that it is one of the best things I’ve watched in the past few months. There were a few good moments but there were mostly overshadowed by the show’s clutter since there is too much going on simultaneously. Some of the storylines are far more interesting than others and I am not sure some of the casting decisions were good. Helen Hunt seemed out of place and Zofia Wichlacz appeared too young for the role.

Parts of the show were interesting. I’ll likely watch a few more episodes or just finish the season to recap it here but I am not blown away by any means. The opening episode scores a 6.5 out of 10.
