Wentworth Review

This episode of Wentworth was slightly better than the previous one. However, a lot of the action felt like filler just to get another episode for the season. Everything involving Marie turned out to be pretty pointless. First, she was going to be taken out by the prisoners. Then, she was nearly killed by the pedophile. Now, they’re just going to break her out of the prison. Killing her now would make this episode feel like a complete waste.

Still, the guards are the best. They bring more drama than the prisoners. The original was a lot like this in some ways. The stuff with Boomer and her mom isn’t bad. Liz is just okay. I am really not sure another season was a good idea. I am not even sure this season was necessary. The episode scores a 7 out of 10. Catch up with previous Wentworth recaps!

I enjoyed this episode, i can tell you which actor had an amazing performance in this ep, it was definitely Jacquie, just after that first brawler scene with Sean, i think you can tell in a way that acting dropped off a bit and it looked like she was genuinely upset and distraught, and I can tell you i’m probably not the only one who felt the way she said “thanks Jake”, she knows she in it up to her eyeballs, and its just been incredible to watch Linda this season, she’s been great this season, and why to me Jacquie is always underrated in every role she has.

Liz on the other hand meeting her son was cute, but i really think either ep 9-10 her character is truly done, Miller is just too caring and Vera finding out about Marie/Will was a funny moment.

I do agree. I think Linda could have been used a whole lot more. It is a shame that some of the guards have been ignored. I think Liz is on her way out too. If it is anything like the old show, Miller might be a shady individual. We’ll see.
