The Outlaws Review

While the jokes are not always “ha-ha” funny, the wittiness makes up for it. It is unfortunate that the jokes about political jokes fell short. They didn’t even try to be clever, wrote them in, just because. The show could be a great escape from all the politics, but no, it slaps you right across the face.

The comedy is gradually eroding as the show is leaning more toward drama.  The various targeted social issues don’t always belong in a comedy. It is like they suddenly ditched the initial strategy to take an entirely different route. Some viewers may not be thrilled by the move.

Haines had to scrap her plan to turn Tyler into an informant. She was saved by DC Lane’s text promoting the sale of expensive coffee. After brief surveillance, Haines and Selforth, now have a new suspect. Will The Outlaws evade the feds once again or join Malaki in prison?
