Have you caught up with the Australian drama, The Code, which is currently available on Netflix? If you haven’t you might want to do so, within the next few months, because the series has been renewed for a second season. The series, which airs on ABC1, premiered on September 21, 2014. It was renewed for a second season in June of 2015.

 

The series was nominated for two Logies Awards, including the Most Outstanding Drama Series. Also, Ashley Zukerman was nominated for Most Outstanding Actor. The series lost to the highly popular Wentworth. The series debuted with nearly 800,000 viewers, but averaged around 500,000 throughout the entire season. The series featured popular Aussie actors and actress including Daniel Spielman, Chelsie Preston Crayford, Paul Tassone, Dan Wyllie, David Wenham and Aden Young.

 

We can only hope the actors will reprise their roles for the upcoming second series. It is scheduled to be produced by David Maher, Di Haddon, Shelley Birse and David Taylor.
