They discuss their feelings before Jorge (Santiago Cabrera) joins them. He gives Nadia the urn with Armand’s ashes. Jorge explains the feds chased them off the road, but they don’t know why they were there. His contacts have no clue who called the feds. Ramona says only three people knew where the drop was. They include Dante, Ramona, and Nadia. Nadia insists she didn’t call the feds. She spoke to Thony on the phone because she was worried. Thony seemed to know he was coming home so Nadia told her where she was. They wonder if Thony called the feds. The guests begin arriving. In private, Ramona asks Jorge if he told Thony Armand was coming home. Jorge insists Thony didn’t call the feds. Jorge suggests the feds offered Nadia a deal when they froze her assets.

He wouldn’t put it past her now that she’s throwing Thony under the bus. Ramona believes he is just being protective of Thony. They agree that they’ll pay for betraying them. Ramona seems out of it but insists she is fine. Fiona argues that Thony shouldn’t go to the wake. Thony argues that Ramona and Jorge expect her to be there. Jeremy (Brandon Jay McLaren) arrives with jumbo. He admits he wanted to check on them after what happened the other day. Thony claims they don’t even have answers themselves and it’d be best to keep quiet about all this. Jeremy asks if they have any security measures around the property. He offers to install some old cameras that were left over from a client. Fiona agrees. Jorge tells Thony she can’t be there because Ramona thinks she called the feds. Thony is adamant that she didn’t call the FBI.

Jorge can’t protect her if Ramona thinks she’s the reason Armand is dead. Thony argues she isn’t responsible so she isn’t going anywhere. Nadia asks Thony if she called the feds. Thony insists she wasn’t wrong about Dante. Nadia worries she’s going to get them both killed. When Thony says she’s sorry, Nadia asks if she’s sorry about losing Armand or taking him from her. Thony says she never meant to hurt her. Nadia tells her to do whatever she wants since she does anyway. Nadia runs into Isabel (Shiva Negar). Nadia tells her why she can’t leave. Isabel gives her a toy that Armand told her to hold onto for him when they were kids. Ramona and Jorge are shocked when they see it. In private, Ramona tells Jorge there’s no reason to keep Armand’s accessories around now that he’s gone.

Jorge asks Ramona to go easy on her. Thony tells Ramona that she did not call the FBI. Ramona believes she suspects someone though. Thony mentions Dante. She explains that she needs answers because she doesn’t know how to move on. Jorge interrupts. Ramona wants to dig into this after the velorio. Thony sees Dante kissing Ramona. Jorge checks on Nadia and gets her a drink. He wants to know whether Armand or the seized assets mattered more to her. Nadia tells him to stay away from her. Jeremy sets up the cameras for Fiona. He notices the light is out of the smoke alarm so he wants to check the battery. They talk about Thony’s friend and everything that’s been going on. Jeremy tells her about his dad getting his entire construction crew to search for survivors following 911.

When the structure collapsed, his dad got trapped. Fiona believes Thony would jump into a burning building to save her. It appears Nadia is trying to get rid of evidence. Jorge catches her and asks if she’s burning evidence. Nadia shows him something from Luca. She says Armand wanted to be Thony’s hero ever since she came into their lives. She believes she lost him long before now. Jorge wonders why they only realize life is too short when it’s already too late. He apologizes for questioning her. Thony remembers a moment from the past before Jorge gives her Luca’s paper that Armand kept. Thony tells Jorge that Dante was arrested for Devil’s Breath. She is convinced that Dante is responsible for Armand’s death. Thony asks if he knew Dante and Ramona were together.

Thony is going to tell them that the job is done and she’s out for good. She apologizes to Armand while remembering past events involving him.

Armand’s parents arrive moments later. Eduardo tells them they should be ashamed. He blames Ramona for his son’s death. Jorge tells him he left because he didn’t want to be around him. He also alleges that Eduardo could never take the truth. Nadia argues what’s done is done. Ramona says she did all this for their family. Eduardo claims Ramona ripped the family apart and warned him to stay away from Jorge. Thony asks them about calling their sister Marina. They say her real name is Ramona Marina Morales and that’s who she has always been to them. Eduardo urges her to get out of this before she can’t. Outside, Thony tells Fiona that Ramona is Marina. That’s the world Armand wrote on the table. They wonder if Dante took Armand because Ramona ordered it.

The Cleaning Lady Review

This was another dreadfully dull episode of The Cleaning Lady that barely did anything besides tons of dialogue. The episode focused primarily on Armand’s passing with a few predictable revelations along the way. Near the end of the episode, they threw in Dante’s death and Jorge blasting a few people to try to make things interesting.

There was very little chemistry between Thony and Armand to begin with. The series has been dragging out the Armand mystery this entire time and it ends with a whimper. In reality, it was obvious they would have to eliminate the character because of the actor’s passing. Dull is the best way to describe this episode. It scores a 4.5 out of 10.
