Sheridan assures her that it wasn’t her fault because of where she left it laying. She tells her $200 will do it when Poppy interrupts. Sheridan asks if they are friends. She acknowledges they are recent friends. Griff Temple (Mitchell Hardaker) sarcastically congratulates her for making the quarters after missing last year’s finals. Prawnie blows his horn to rush her up. He pleads with her to stay. Sitting down beside him, she encourages him to breathe normally. She continues to provide encouragement as Prawnie pulls out of the parking lot. He assures her that he can’t return to the competition.

When Sheridan places her surfboard in the back of her truck, Summer rushes over and places it underneath the front tire. Griff wins the semi-finals.

Ari takes a seat beside a sullen Poppy and Bodhen. Summer alerts the surfers on the beach to watch out as Sheridan’s truck rolls toward them. Sheridan rushes toward her broken surfboard. Poppy questions if Summer did it intentionally. Ari calls her a “monster.” Summer sarcastically asks if the surfboard belonged to her before apologizing.

Margot Torres (Kate Beahan) leaves Summer a message, regarding an alert from her credit card company. She pleads with her to not take her anger out on Abbie Gibson (Adrienne Pickering) and her family. Summer joins them at the dining table as the episode comes to an end.

Surviving Summer Review

The show is moving along quite nicely. As Summer settles in, Ari and Poppy’s surfing desperation begins to surface. Every member of the main cast has a unique set of problems, which is typical for teenagers.

The cinematography and acting a great. The episode deserves a 6. Get more Surviving Summer recaps here. Support Reel Mockery by clicking the link.
