December 7, 2022: Amazon Studios announces new actors to join the second season of its “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.” Bodyguard actor, Stuart Bowman will take on the role of Macduff. Details of Bowman’s character are not available.

Born in Dundee, Scotland – Bowman was raised in Clackmannanshire and Fife. He currently resides with his partner, Candida Benson, and children, Sholto and Tavish in Hackney, East London.

Bowman has accumulated over 70 acting credits since the 1990s. His most recent roles were Saul in the film, “Eight for Silver,” Bishop Aubrey Gray in the TV series, “Grantchester,” and Sean Palmer in “Alex Rider.”

Collateral actor, Oliver Alvin-Wilson (Lovesick, The Bay, Murder in Provence), Gavi Singh Chera (The Lazarus Project, The Cherry Orchard, The Undeclared War), William Chubb (Vampire Academy, Quiz, Jonathan Strange, The Sandman), Kevin Eldon (Inside Number 9, Game of Thrones), Selina Lo (Hellraiser), and Will Keen (The Pursuit of Love, My Lady Jane, Ridley Road) will also join the second season cast.
