December 13, 2022: Sky announced a Christmas special hosted by singer/songwriter, Imelda May. “Christmas in Ireland with Imelda May and Friends” will run an hour on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at 9:30pm on Sky Arts and Now.
Imelda May will host the one-hour Christmas special from the magnificent Pepper Canister Church, established in 1821 by Irish architect, John Bowden.
“A Christmas Childhood” by Patrick Kavanagh will be recited by television personality and singer, Sharon Corr. Irish composer and musician will perform a self-penned poem.
“Christmas in Ireland with Imelda May and Friends,” produced by Red Shoe Productions, will feature performances from Jack Lukeman, Glen Hansard, Hawke The Bank, and Loah. Access the press release here.
