Peaky Blinders Review

I love Peaky Blinders but I did not like this episode at all. It was too drawn out there in the beginning and it didn’t do a good job of setting up the season’s storyline. In fact, the episode didn’t do much of anything. The stock market crashed and the family lost a lot of money. Thomas found a solution by continuing business as usual. He spoke out in Parliament and caught the attention of Oswald Mosley. Then, he spoke with a journalist only to have the man killed later.

I guess the writers are trying to show that Tommy is getting a little reckless. Tommy and his family have gotten the big head with Tommy being a politician and all. Sadly, the episode felt like a waste of an hour. It could have been more effective. At this point, I am not sure who the villain is this season or what is even going on. I hope it gets better quickly.

Tommy’s bravado alone cannot carry the show. The episode scores a 6 out of 10. Catch up with previous Peaky Blinders recaps right now!
