Outer Range Review

The most grotesque kiss of all time. Why was it necessary to show a closeup of saliva-swapping? The scene added nothing to the show. Billy is my favorite character, but this, this is too painful to watch.

An uneventful episode. The dialogue is nothing more than a long empty monologue. I can imagine the cast was bored out of their minds.

For this to be the episode leading up to the finale, it fails on so many levels. I don’t feel a connection to any of the characters. At this rate, I expect the finale to be a dud.

I know this is a fictional show, but shouldn’t Perry have lost his freedom? After all, he is out on bond for a murder charge.

  1. James Luther says:

I have definite theories on what’s happing here but I don’t want to share them until you’ve seen the last episode. There is a lot of moving parts in the last two episodes. I will tell you though that if you are looking for a neatly wrapped up explanation of it all I did not find that the writers provided it in the closing episode. Maybe that is their intention.

On a sperate note I finished We Hunt Together Series 1, in preparation for Series 2 which is currently airing an Alabi, but I cannot find any valid sources for Series 2. A shame because I really want to watch Series 2. It stars Eva Myles, which you may remember from Keeping Faith, the Welch drama.
