Dee-Brief, which is being billed as the little-webseries-that-could, is scheduled to launch on Channel 10 Peach and 10 Play on December the 7th at 9 PM. The Melbourne-based series is produced by indie filmmakers Jessica Pearce and Sarah Hickey. Dee-Brief is a classic love story focused on female best friends. FIMLINK describes the webseries as an “unapologetically honest female driven dramedy that you’ll want to binge”.
The series follows the story of Kate (Chloe Martin) and Dee (Alexandra Hines). The two best friends move in together after Dee ends a long-term relationship. The story is based on real life events and stories with a bit of artistic license. Dee-Brief launched in mid 2018 as a web-series. Within a matter of hours, the trailer accumulated 20,000 views.
