Mike orders a hit on Gunner.

The finale can only be described as a “dud.” Useless filler scenes, weak writing, poor lighting, and too many inconsistencies to count. The show failed to deliver on its promise of a massive showdown between Mike and Milo.

Paramount+ will likely commission another season of this tripe since Milo survived the boat explosion. Replacing Taylor Sheridan may be the only way to save the show if it isn’t already too late. Why does Paramount+ believe he is the only existing writer? After this disastrous ending, it would be expected to question his writing abilities.

The finale deserves a 4.5. Get more Mayor of Kingstown recaps here. Support Reel Mockery by clicking the link. Our onsite advertising is affordable and effective.

The whole thing was kind of a waste of time if you ask me. Like you said… finale a total dud. I’m not sure I even understand the premise of the show anyway. This guy runs around making deals with gangs, neo nazi, corrupt police and politicians, prison guards, prostitutes etc. for no apparent good reason. They create messes all over their rust belt town, committing crime after crime, Then spend days or weeks trying to fix the messes they created. If they just left everything the hell alone there’d be no problems. Prisoners would be prisoners, just like they are everywhere else and crime would be any worse than it is in most cities like Houston, New Orleans, Little Rock etc.

Good thing I watched using Real Debrid because I wouldn’t spend a dime I on Paramount. It’s a garbage streaming service.

All that and the fact that the prison is so loosely guarded. Pretty funny to see someone stand near the gate and fly a drone full of drugs into the prison lol. I expected more when the Crips gangsters armed themselves to the teeth but nope. Just one quick shanking.

Paramount really put all their egg in Sheridan’s basket after the success of Yellowstone. I really don’t understand that when they could’ve given more opportunities to other writers who may have original ideas that actually work.
