Keeley Hawes Leads New BBC One Drama Crossfire About Gun Attack At Resort

Filming has begun on the three-part BBC One Drama Crossfire starring Keeley Hawes. The series will be a collaboration between BBC and TVE and the markers of The Salisbury Poisonings. Crossfire is created and written by Louise Doughty as her first original series for television. Jo (Keeley Hawes) finally goes on her dream holiday at a luxurious resort in the Canary Islands.

As she relaxes and sunbathes on the balcony, her world is flipped upside-down when shots ring out in the distance. Within an instant, revenge-fueled gunmen transform the dream resort into a nightmare for all guests and staff. Tourists and hotel staff will be forced to make split-second decisions to save their lives.

The series promises the consequences will linger with viewers long after the final gunshots are fired. Josette Simon, Anneika Rose, Lee Ingleby, Daniel Ryan, Vikash Bhai, Hugo Silva, Alba Brunet, Shalisha James-Davis, and Ariyon Bakare will join Keeley Hawes. Crossfire is being directed by Tessa Hoffe and produced by Alex Mercer. The 3-episode 60-minute series is made by Dancing Ledge Productions in association with Buddy Club Productions for BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
