Plot’s still good. Some of the actors such as Ema, Author and Ms. Friedman are still good.

Mickey still looks like he caught his wee wee in his zipper half the time. And these guys have serious first world problems such as everyone found out that your mother is a famous film star.

The conspiracy behind all this is EXTREMELY far fetched but hey… just go with it for the entertainment value. I’m still good with ot and frankly kind of enjoying it. 😉

    • ReelMockery says:

Lol good way of saying. I feel like it’s going in circles and not really getting anywhere besides a few tidbits here and there. Remains watchable but no doubt it could’ve been much better.

  2. James Luther says:

Currently watching Liebes Kinder (Dear Child) I guess it’s on German or European Netflix, maybe on American Netflix too (I wouldn’t know because I don’t subscribe to it). But anyhow, it’s very good so far and I’d bet dollars to donuts it’s up your alley. Six episodes… follows the UK pattern for police thrillers.

Also Let Me In (released digitally this week) is really good if you pay attention to all the details. Otherwise the story doesn’t really come together.

    • ReelMockery says:

I read about Dear Child but haven’t watched it yet. Sounds very interesting though. I was hesitant to do it because it isn’t in English, but I might just have to check it out. Let me In sounds intriguing as well. I always kinda liked Kodi Smit-McPhee who seems odd to me.

Although it has a lot of flaws, The Killing Kind has been pretty enjoyable. Just started The Lovers too and I was surprised how much I liked it, especially for a romance lol.

      • James Luther says:

Im sorry I didn’t mean Let Me In. I meant “Talk to Me” the latest A24 movie with the haunted hand and what not. I don’t know why I said “Let me in’. Mind like a sieve 😁
