Guilt Review

I’ve enjoyed every episode of this television series. It has been great. The acting was excellent and the story was very intriguing. While similar stories have been done before, Guilt took a new twist and looked at things from a new angle. I wasn’t expecting the ending. I guess the brothers decided to flip on one another. However, I think the writers got it right here. Max seemed to be the more ruthless and shady brother. I think it makes sense for him to go down for the crime instead of Jake.

However, it is a bit disappointing that he is the only one who got into trouble. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the finale and thought it did a good job finishing the story. The finale scores a 7.5 out of 10. Previous recaps of Guilt can be found on Reel Mockery!

What happened to Tina when she got caught stealing the money?

    • ReelMockery says:

Has been a bit since I watched this series so I can’t recall right now. I do remember that it was a hoot while it lasted. Will try to jog my memory and see if I can find out for you.

  2. Diane Cherniss says:

Disappointed in the ending. Looks like the very evil Sheila faces no consequences for poisoning Walter.

    • Jeanne Devine says:

And Angie definitely committed identity fraud, for which she was arrested, as well as overstaying her visa. She could implicate Sheila, who paid her 20,000 pounds to do it. Will Jake get off scot-free (pun intended) for his hit-and-run killing of Walter by lying to the police about who was driving? As well as being an accomplice in the money laundering through his store? Which would also implicate policeman Stevie? Sure, I can see all these folks trying to get out of all Guilt (or at least criminal charges) by blaming Max for everything, but I can’t see them succeeding 100%. Maybe that’s where Season 2 will take us?

    • ReelMockery says:

Can’t argue with you there. Has been a long time since I watched this show so I can’t remember the specifics. Would like to see a second season to cover the bases though.
