Former mixed martial artist, Phil Baroni has been charged and arrested in the beating death of girlfriend. According to The newspaper Tribuna de la Bahia, Baroni and his girlfriend were staying in a hotel in San Pancho, Mexico. The 46-year-old former Bellator fighter allegedly killed his girlfriend who was not identified in a fit of jealous rage.

The victim’s nude body was found Sunday, January 1, 2023, after Baroni reported the incident to local authorities. The woman has sustained blunt force trauma to the head and body.The former Pride FC fighter is being held in a municipal jail waiting to see the judge.
