British legal drama, The Split, is coming back for a third and final season. The drama, which was created by Abi Morgan, first aired on BBC One in the United Kingdom on April 24, 2018. It follows the Defoe family of divorce lawyers and their intertwined relationships. Each season has had six episodes with 12 episodes in total. Viewers will have one more chance to catch up with Hannah and Nathan Stern as well as their unconventional family.
Filming on The Split’s third and final season has wrapped up with Damien Molony who plays Tyler Donaghue breaking the news on Twitter. Molony shared a picture with co-stars Annabel Scholey and Chukwudi Iwuji. Actress Fiona Button also confirmed the news on Instagram saying, “Wrapped on Split 3 last night. So so lucky to have been a part of this show and to have worked with these incredible people. I will miss it very much.”
She shared a picture of herself and her on-screen sisters, Scholey and Nicola Walker, as well as a few video clips from behind the scenes. The 3rd season of The Split will likely air in 2022 although an official date hasn’t been announced. After it finishes airing on BBC One, it should air on Sundance TV a few months later.
