It says something about something being in the area that hates them. Rob suggests that it was the drugs talking. Rob is surprised to find out that the statement was written in 1987 just 2 years after the disappearance. They agree to shred and destroy the document. Rosalind pleads with her sister to tell the story. Jess says that the man told Katy she was pretty. He said he has kittens and he invited Katy to come with him. Jess wanted to see the kitten but Katy didn’t believe there were any. The man followed them for a bit but eventually disappeared. Jess says that the man was wearing workout clothes like he was going running. The outfit was blue. This convinces Rob and Cassie that the man exists. They tell Jonathan about the man. Sophie meets with Rob at the office that night. She tells him about the tests run on Adam’s clothes and other items. The blood on the socks is A-negative which is the same as Adam’s. The person responsible for the cuts must have been right handed.

Peter and Jamie were O positive. She does not believe that the blood belonged to Adam. Sophie says that she has never seen a blade like the one used to cut the t-shirt. She has never seen a situation where the blood comes from nowhere either. Rob asks her about the noises the hecklers were making in the woods. She tells him that they were laughing. Both leave a short time later. O’Neill says goodbye to Cassie before leaving for work. She gets a call from him a few hours later. He claims that it is nothing more than a pocket call before hanging up. She goes to sleep, has a weird dream, and gets another call. This time, Frank tells her to get up, get dressed, and meet him outside.

Alicia calls the phone line for Katy’s murder case and informs the detectives that they should be looking for Adam. She encourages them to ask Adam what he did in the woods. Rob works to piece together the paper that Quigley shredded earlier in the episode. When he gets it put together, it looks like the note says something about the place laughing. In a flashback, we see Cathal and his friends harassing Jamie. Rob looks in front of him and spots the wolf again. Someone drives Cassie down the road before telling her to put on her hood. Their vehicle passes a number of police officers before they finally come to a stop. The man tells her that he is over there.

Cassie gets out and approaches the building that has fallen apart while the car drives away. Soon, Cassie meets with O’Neill and Frank. She is surprised to see the body of Lexie on the ground.

Dublin Murders Review

I’ll be honest here. I am not sure what to think about Dublin Murders. At times, it is brilliant. Other times, it is a jumbled mess. I like the atmosphere, the actors, and the story. However, I think we’re getting the runaround a little too much. There might be a little too much going on at once. That won’t be a problem as long as everything interconnects in the end. I like it and dislike it too. I am eager to find out what is going to happen but I am getting frustrated with it too.

It is starting to take on a supernatural vibe. We have the woods laughing at people and Rob seeing wolves everywhere. I hope things do not get too crazy. I haven’t read the books so everything is new to me. Hopefully, things will remain grounded and reasonable. We’ll find out soon enough. The episode was okay but a bit unbelievable with the Hanley nonsense and the hallucinations from Rob. The episode scores a 7 out of 10.
