Dead Ringers Review

After the first episode of Dead Ringers, it is impossible to be enthusiastic about the rest of the series. It was really hard to get into the story straight from the start due to the juvenile, unrealistic dialogue and the off-putting performance from Rachel Weisz. The twins were easy to confuse and it didn’t help that they switched roles at least once or twice.

The story is going to drag at a slow pace considering it is being stretched to six episodes. There are also agendas being pushed at every turn that makes this feel more like a statement than a show that was written and produced for the viewer’s entertainment. Unfortunately, this isn’t good so it’d probably be better to just watch the movie again and save time.

The birth scenes looked great although they were a little over-the-top. The opening episode scores a 4 out of 10. Recaps of Dead Ringers can be found on Reel Mockery here. Find out how to support our independent site at this link. Learn more about advertising on Reel Mockery here.
