Creamerie Season 2 Episode 3 Recap

As this episode of Creamerie begins, Bobby and the others head into Lane’s compound. They run into Pip (Perlina Lau), Michelle (Kimberley Crossman), and a few others. When Michelle goes for something in her pocket, Bobby (Jay Ryan) and Jaime (JJ Fong) begin shooting. Pip is saved. Alex (Ally Xue) asks Michelle where they took the milked men because she needs to see their teeth. Pip reveals that Michelle doesn’t know anything and that is why she brought them there. Since everything is gone, they suspect someone warned Lane. They immediately blame Jackson (Yoson An), but he denies it.

Michelle mentions something about jellies. She explains that she has been making traffic light jellies because Lane is pregnant and has cravings. Pip pushes until she learns that they’re in the scullery of Lane’s private residence. She thinks about it and argues that the good boys are at Lane’s private residence next to the wellness center. Jackson knows a way into Lane’s residence because she would sometimes invite him there. They try to figure out where they can go to rest. Pip suggests going to Michelle’s place. Although Michelle is against the idea, she doesn’t have much of a choice. When they go into Michelle’s house, they see that she is a hoarder. Michelle claims people came in and left the rubbish though.

Jackson gives them a rundown of Lane’s residence and says not many people see inside. He believes Lane will be sleeping upstairs. Once Michelle confirms that the floor plan is accurate, Bobby says they will strike at midnight. Later, Alex tells Jackson about the psychedelic journey she went on and how she found her mom’s notebook. She tries to get his help deciphering the message at the bottom of the notebook. Jackson says they can bring it to Ma not realizing she has been permed. Lane lobotomized their mother with the state’s blessing four years ago. Jackson says she promised to take care of Ma for them. Alex shows him how she tried to kill her too before saying they should go on a field trip. They visit their mother. Alex tries to see if she can tell them what is at the bottom of the notebook.

Tilda is watching Lane on television so Alex tries to stop her. She breaks the DVD so she can’t watch it anymore. Tilda looks at the notebook and begins humming “Can-can’. Alex says they make them dance like monkeys. After that, Jackson leads everyone into Lane’s private residence. He doesn’t think their mother was singing. Instead, she was trying to show them the periodic table song. He thinks that is the code. It is Zn, Br, zinc, and bromine. J is the only one that isn’t on the periodic table. Bobby says they’re here so they should wrap this up a little later. When they go inside, they hear an alarm. Michelle claims it is a humidity sensor and nothing to worry about. They wonder if they should go back, but Bobby says no because they’ve come this far.

Jaime finds that the door they entered is now locked. She begins looking for another distance while Bobby looks around with Pip and Michelle. As they continue moving around, music and lights turn on. Jaime notices a picture of a pregnant Lane on the wall. She pulls it off the wall and finds a hidden door. Bobby finds some captive men. The good boys have bombs strapped to their stomachs and they demand they leave. They complain that they had well lives until they came along. Pip yells that they have traffic light jelly. Jaime finds Lane’s bedroom but Lane is gone. Jackson and Jaime talk about losing Oscar and grieving. He was put into solitary and it did a number on his head. Jackson says hell is a black hole that keeps eating you over and over until you want to die.

Jaime reminds him that he had eight years to decide to be a better person. Jackson decided to be with Lane so he wouldn’t have to face himself. Lane (Tandi Wright) interrupts when she enters the room with a handgun. Jackson tells Lane that he knows the location of the Sisterhood. Lane believes they’re past that point now. Jaime tries to convince her to put the gun down. She manages to get her to do it. Bobby attempts to win over the good boys so they won’t explode the bombs. He tells them it is safe out there even though he remembers otherwise. The men explode the bombs. Lane asks Jackson whether he is hers. He says she is his future and he wants her. She ends up screaming at him to go away. Jackson goes back for more.

Lane says “no wellness, no life” before shooting Jackson. Alex runs in and finds out what has happened. Guards arrive and take them into custody. Lane screams for her baby. Bobby shoots his way into the room to try to save them. Jackson draws a peace sign on Jaime’s hand and says peace. He passes away.

Creamerie Review

This episode of Creamerie was fun even if the series is silly and over-the-top. The episode set up a lot with Jackson being killed and the group possibly uncovering more about a potential cure. Really though, this isn’t a show that anyone should take seriously. The episodes have been genuine fun that doesn’t need to be taken seriously at all.

Is this going to be for everyone? Probably not, but some people will enjoy the rash humor and overall quirkiness of Creamerie. This usually isn’t my cup of tea. Surprisingly, Creamerie seems to hit the sweet spot for me even though it isn’t something I’d normally like. The episode scores a 6 out of 10. Recaps of Creamerie can be found on Reel Mockery here.
