Channel 4 Announces Cast For ‘Suspect’ Season 2 Set To Air In 2024

On November 15, 2023, Channel 4 releases the lineup for the second series of Suspect, co-written by David Allison (Bedlam, The Couple Next Door, Bedlam) and Joy Wilkinson (7 Keys, The Everlasting Club, Doctor Who). Series two, featuring eight episodes, will premiere on Channel 4 and BritBox in 2024.

Returning cast members include James Nesbitt (Stay Close, The Missing, Murphy’s Law, Babylon), Anna-Marie Duff (Sex Education, Shameless, The Virgin Queen), and Ben Miller.

Tamsin Greig (The Diary of Anne Franks, Belgravia), Dominic Cooper (That Dirty Black Bag, The Gold, Band of Brothers), Eddie Marsan (The Winter King, The Pact, Ray Donovan), Vinette Robinson (Code 404, Boiling Point, The Lazarus Project), Nicholas Pinnock (Django, The Town, Fortitude), Celine Buckens (Warrior, Showtrial), and Gina McKee (Bodyguard, Line of Duty, Catherine the Great).

In series two, Dr. Susannah Newman’s (Anna-Marie Duff) pursuit of a serial killer changes directions when a hypnotized client confesses to being a murderer. Jon (Dominic Cooper) also reveals his plan to kill Sapphire again later that day. Detective Superintendent Richard Grove (Ben Miller) dismisses Jon’s escape. With no one else to turn to, Susannah sets out on her own to stop Jon from killing Sapphire.
