She says Divis decided to keep Mallin around because he might have something to do with the prophecy. Ania speaks with Phelan (Julian Rhind-Tutt) while the group travels. Britannia Review

I have absolutely no clue what is going on in this show. It might be because I have little interest in it but it could be a lack of cohesion. I don’t know. I just can’t understand the story at all. There is a bit too much going on. I think they need to start eliminating characters instead of adding new ones and bringing back old ones. With that being said, it was nice to find out that Sawyer is doing okay.

I guess Andra was Amena’s daughter instead of her sister. The father was somehow trapped in the wall for years and years. Mallin is hoping to stop Cait from fulfilling the prophecy and Divis is controlled by an evil demon. Aulus is trying to kill Cait but I doubt that will happen. This is my understanding of it. If anyone can fill me in, I would appreciate. This season has been better than the first but neither has been spectacular. The episode scores a 6.5 out of 10. I think the thing about this show is that you can’t read too heavily into it I believe that it’s all to do with this prophecy of the two brothers who are the creepy looking dudes and they are basically like heaven and hell sort of and hell is winning and that’s the guy with the dark hair and he has Rome on his side. Also Rome equals hell. As far as Andra and the dad in the wall and all that I have to be quite honest I feel like it adds nothing to the story and the characters are not only annoying but overly dramatic and I’m pretty sure there’s some symbolism for them that’s tied into the story probably like they’re the stepsisters or sisters of the creepy brothers who knows or maybe they’re the mothers of the aunts I don’t know at this point I don’t really care but to your point it’s too confusing. The best part of the whole story is pretty much Cait and Divis and now that loser kid is f****** it all up.
And the lamest part about all of it is that I don’t know what anyone’s going to gain by the prophecy coming true as in Cait dying, other than all the people dressed in ’80s Goth nasty clothing are going to be the more triumphant people or something. Okay then one other related character that’s kind of cool is I believe it’s the fisherman who’s the father of the dead kids maybe I don’t know but he I believe is going to play a part in killing someone on the evil side in order to help save Cait that’s my hunch. It may even be his own kid… That’s my foreshadowing for the next season although I may even have his character confused but I think he was the fisherman and I’m thinking that that was Mallik father the blonde cute guy that’s trying to score on Cait.
So to your point I probably didn’t help you any but yeah there’s a whole lot of b*******. I’m just fascinated with the characters and there’s some good acting.

Thanks for your comment. Has been a while since I watched the 2nd season, but I think I get the gist of what you’re saying about everything. Agree that Cait and Divis are the best part of the series. I vaguely remember the fisherman. It does seem like he was somehow intertwined in the prophecy.

I think the 3rd season is out now. I really need to start working on it! Thanks again for stopping by.
