Blue Lights Finale Review

Stevie and Grace arrest MI5 agents, Rachel and Mark to only have Jonty to order their immediate release. Grace takes the SD card consisting of the CCTV footage of Gerry’s shooting before returning their camera. She joins Stevie, Annie, McNally, and Tommy to watch the footage. They turn the SD card over to Nicola. Joseph promises to release James and Mo or Tina but Nicola forces him to turn them over. Near the end of the episode, Tina starts working with Joseph. After Jen confesses to using Jonty, Nicola asks for his resignation.

Gordy takes a plea deal to stay out of jail. He and Angela are placed in witness protection. James, Mo, and Anto remain in jail. When Gerry dies, it becomes a murder case.

Jen resigns from the police force. Grace and Stevie’s relationship gets more serious. He opts to stay with the department instead of joining the Close Protection Unit. Tommy gets a new partner, Annie. McNally takes over Jonty’s position.

Not mentioning Cal’s personal struggles felt like they never existed. The airtime isn’t utilized effectively. Some scenes are irrelevant while others are too short or too long. Tina’s meeting with Joseph is their way of shooting for a second series in which views are mixed.
