BBC ‘The Traitors’ Finale -Three Faithfuls Claim €101,50

£101,050 on the line, for 22 diverse contestants, it became a matter of who, what, and when. Staying true to the name, BBC’s reality/challenge series was a 12-part psychological, high-stakes game of deception. It was not just a thriller packed full of unforeseeable twists and turns around every corner, but a vastness of skills and manipulation.

The reality show featured a diverse array of players. From magicians to cheerleaders, coaches, BMX athletes, physical therapists, and property developers, 22 unique personalities.

Each player must have an effective strategy to remain in the game. All the while, the remaining very determined opponents are barreling down on you.

The series kicked off with 22 players secretly selected by the host, Claudia Winkleman to play the role of “Faithful” or “Traitor.” Set in an ancient, drafty Scottish castle, the threat of being “fake murdered” became even more apparent.

‘The Traitors’ The Winners Revealed

“The Traitors” proved to be a test of true penmanship. Over the course of 12 episodes, the Faithfuls had to put their heads together to determine which contestants were “The Traitors.” Only one Traitor would be “murdered” each night over the span of three weeks.

After the remaining Traitor, Wilfred was murdered, three Faithfuls, Meryl, Aaron, and Hannah were awarded £101,050. “The Traitors” reined in 3.3 million viewers.  The full series is available on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. The press release is available here.
