On February 11, 2019, it was announced that John Heffernan, Joanna Scanlan, Dolly Wells, Morfydd Clark, Lujza Richter and Mark Gatiss had joined the cast of Dracula. These actors and actresses will star alongside Claes Bang who snagged the title role. The roles for the other actors and actresses will be revealed in due course.

The three-part television series is inspired by Bram Stoker’s classic novel. It was written by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss. The series will begin filming sometime this Spring. BBC One commissioned the drama, which will be produced by Hartswood Films. It is a co-production between Netflix and BBC One.

The series, which spans over three episodes, will reintroduce the world to Dracula. The blood drinking Count from Transylvania has horrible plans for Victorian London. Fans of the original film or the novel will definitely want to keep an eye out for Dracula. The series will air on BBC One in the United Kingdom and Netflix elsewhere.
