Acorn TV’s Whitstable Pearl is gearing up for a new season on November 18, 2022. Earlier, Kerry Godliman confirmed she would return as Pearl saying she was delighted to get the chance to play Pearl again. Howard Charles will be returning a DCI Mike McGuire. A second season was green-lit in late November of last year. The second season of Whitstable Pearl will premiere in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and North America on November 28th.
In the first season, Single mom Pearl pursues her dream of starting a private detective agency which is run from the family’s restaurant in Whitstable. Pearl finds herself working with DCI Mike McGuire when a friend dies under suspicious circumstances. The second season trailer sees Mike trying to solve another local case. Pearl believes he’ll need her around since she knows who all his suspects are.
The couple will also tackle a missing child’s case. Their relationship is tested by the nature of the crimes they’re attempting to resolve.
Is There A Whitstable Pearl Season 2?
Yes! Fans won’t have to wait long for the second season of Whitstable Pearl to hit screens across the world. The season will be available in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand on November 28. It will stream on Acorn TV which typically releases a new episode each week.
Whitstable Pearl Season 2 Cast
Fans will be thrilled to learn that the popular cast members of Whitstable Pearl will be returning for another season. Kerry Godliman will reprise her role as determined private detective Pearl Nolan. Her unofficial crime-solving partner DCI Mike McGuire will again be played by Howard Charles. Sophia Del Pizzo is expected to return as DS Nikki Martel.
Frances Barber will once again play the role of Pearl’s mother, Dolly Nolan. Other actors and actresses expected to be in season two include Marvin Anthony, Daniel De Bourg, and Roanna Appleby.
