We jump eight months forward since the time when Vincent teamed up with Ronnie to force Walshy to sell the window business. Vincent Swan (Ed Westwick) sits down with the new neighbors. He immediately sells them a line of bull in hopes of selling them a conservatory. Patricia and Ralph seem eager to get the ball rolling. Ralph signs the paperwork. On the way home, he makes sure Natalie (Charlie-Lou Borthwick) is going to collaborate his story. Soon, we learn that Ronnie (Lee Ross) was forced to move the window business since the old one was burned.

Ronnie has been pressuring Vincent to pay fifty thousand pounds back to the business. So, Vincent can’t flee. The company has a new product, a PVCU, double-glazed conservatory. Meanwhile, Martin Lavendar (Joe Thomas) attends a seminar about selling by Joanne Scott (Rachel Shenton). Tony Walsh (Nigel Lindsay) is there as well. At the office, Carol (Lauren O’Rourke) shows Martin and Vincent a video of Brian (James Buckley) for a dating service. Brian finds out. He tells them that he has split from Maureen (Harriet Webb). In reality, she has been sleeping with her female exercise instructor.

The group finds out that Tony has started his own window business W Windows. Vincent and Sam attend dinner with Patricia and Ralph. The new conservatory comes up. Sam is not happy. Patricia says she is a school governor. She may be able to help Rob with his education. Outside, Sam tells Vincent not to screw things up with the neighbors. Soon, a dispute about a holiday causes Brendan (Lloyd Hutchinson) to quit. He goes to work for Walshy. Vincent goes to the unemployment office. He hires Barry aka Derek (Steve Evets) despite the man having very limited skills.

Derek is immediately put in charge of the conservatory project. Brian and Martin play pranks on Tony. Sam learns from Patricia that there is a problem with the conservatory. The windows have been installed the wrong way. Sam tells Vincent to take care of it. He gets Barry to fix the problem. Instead, things only get worse. Brian and Martin learn that someone has been using their business to steal clients. It is Tony’s business. Vincent visits W Windows to speak with him. He learns that Joanne is working for Tony. She is the one pulling all of the tricks. Vincent is promptly forced to leave.

Carol and Brian go on a date. She happened to pick him from the dating service. She apologizes for showing his video to the others. They agree they do not have any chemistry. Still, they decide to sleep together to find out if there are any connections in that department. Sam and Vincent prepare for Patricia Brown and her husband to come over for dinner. Instead, he gets a phone call about more problems. The conservatory has been destroyed with spray foam insulation. Vincent doesn’t seem eager to fix the problem. After sex, Brian seems to have fallen for Carol. She says she got nothing out of it.

 

White Gold Review

I am honestly really surprised White Gold ever made it back. It is even more surprising that Ed Westwick is still starring as Vincent Swan. Despite all of the craziness from the rape allegations, White Gold is really funny. It is indeed stupid, but humorous nevertheless. The writing is quirky. Sometimes, I feel like the supporting cast really steals the show from Westwick anyway. If you can put the past behind you and you enjoy non-PC humor, you’ll most likely enjoy White Gold.
