Strangers And Friends – The episode opens with Rand al’Thor (Josha Stradowski) living in Forgate, Cairhien where he continues to be plagued by visions of murdering his friends. He’s also sleeping with his landlady, Selene (Natasha O’Keefe), and working at the local Sanitarium.
Verin’s Home – Lan Mandragoran (Daniel Henney) and Moiraine Damodred (Rosamund Pike) spend time recovering in Verin Mathwin’s (Meera Syal) courtyard. Verin announces she and Adeleas (Nila Aalia) will tag along on their trip. Once alone again, Lan attempts a conversation with Moiraine, but she cuts him off by expressing her urgent desire to get to the White Tower.
On The Trail – Perrin Aybara (Marcus Rutherford) and the Shienarans use the tracker Elyas Machera (Gary Beadle) to continue their search for Padan Fain (Johann Myers). Although Uno Nomesta (Guy Roberts) questions his abilities, Elyas leads them to a river crossing with a small village on the other side. Ingtar Shinowa (Gregg Chilingirian) notes that something doesn’t feel right, but orders crossing anyway. On the other side, the group splits up to search and Perrin has a haunting flashback of an attack. A short time later, the group discovers a tortured and crucified Fade which leads Elyas to suspect Padan was scared off by something far worse than them.
Forgate, Cairhien Sanitarium – On his daily walk with Errol, (Nasser Memarzia), Rand witnesses an aggressive co-worker, Yann (Darragh O’Toole) frighten and tease the man. Rand warns him that one day he will tease the wrong person.
The White Tower – Liandrin Guirale (Kate Fleetwood) takes Nynaeve al’Meara (Zoe Robins) to watch an Accepted (Esther Ayo James) heal a young girl (Marie Pressova) with breakbone fever. While Nynave is asked to hold the girl’s hand, Liandrin steals a vial of crimson thorn root. After the healing, Liandrin tries recruiting Nynaeve by explaining how the Ajahs utilize their powers. Before leaving, Liandrin announces that Mistress of Novices, Sheriam Bayanar (Rima Te Wiata) approved her request to train Nynaeve if she’s interested. Nynaeve remains silent as Liandrin picks up sweet cakes for Mat Cauthon (Barney Harris). Accusing Liandrin of poisoning the sweet cakes, Mat devours them when she leaves.
Elsewhere, Egwene Al’Vere (Madeleine Madden) meets her new Royal neighbor Elayne Trakand (Ceara Coveney). Egwene learns that Elayne is the Daughter-Heir of Andor.
Alanna Mosvani (Priyanka Bose) tells Mistress of Novices to complain that Liandrin is taking Nynaeve through the Arches. Ihvon (Emmanuel Imani) reminds her that Liandrin was ordered to stay away the Novices last week. Sheriam tells them that Nynaeve is far too powerful to be hurt. Alanna suggests the impending final battle is why the new generation is being born with more power. Sheriam reminds her that the matter will be put to a vote and she only counts as one.
Camp – Verin asks Moiraine why three fades would be interested in her. Before she responds, Verin says she suspects it’s because Moiraine brought the Dragon back to Tar Valon. With her hand on her blade, Moiraine asks her who else knows. Eyeing the blade, Verin claims she was testing her to see how far she would go to protect the Dragon. Verin says that the sisters are so worried that the Dragon will break the world again that they can’t see the truth. Moiraine tells her that what’s always broken can’t be fixed before demanding an oath of allegiance. Verin says they’ll just have to trust each other, but assures that she’ll do her part.
Forgate, Cairhien -Rand watches Yann engage in the town’s festivities before following and attacking him. He inadvertently kills him with his channeling powers. Returning home in fear, he finds Selene waiting on his bed. He tries to convince her to leave but they end up in bed.
The White Tower – Egwene and Elayne encounter Sheriam who is upset about Elayne’s maids gaining access to the Novice quarters. She assures her that she is no different than any other Novice at the Tower. Sheriam demands to know who gave the maids access. Saying nothing, Elayne accepts a lashing every morning for the next three months. Before storming off, Sheriam insists on a meeting with Nynaeve.
Nynaeve follows Liandrin to where she meets a sick Aludran (Vladimir Javorsky). While mixing the crimsonthorn root, Liandrin spots Nynaeve watching her and demand she leave. Seeing Aludran’s hand tremors, Nynaeve notes crimsonthorn root won’t help because it is his heart. She suggests turmeric milk for the inflammation when Liandrin backhands her and demand she leave. Once alone, Liandrin begs for Aludran’s forgiveness.
Mat removed a section of block from his cell wall only to see the adjacent cell and Min Farshaw (Kae Alexander). They share a nice conversation.
Camp – Adeleas shares a bit about Verin and Tomas’s history (Heikkp Deutschmann) before asking about Lan and Moiraine’s background. Moiraine explains how they mistook each other for a Darkfriend and an assassin. When she approached him at a lake, he threw her in.
The White Tower – Working together, Mat and Min have removed enough block for Min to climb through with a bottle wine. While having a drink, she explains that it was her foresight that got her locked up. Mat assures her that he has no interest in knowing his future. Before leaving, she envisions him killing Rand but keeps it to herself.
In the Novice quarters, Egwene tells Elayne that she and Nynaeve came to the Tower together. When Nynaeve visits Egwene’s room, she overhears her telling Elayne that she is never there for her. Elayne says Egwene envies Nynaeve’s power. Liandrin approaches and tells Nynaeve to follow her. She leads her to the Arches.
Camp – Searching Moiraine’s saddlebags, Lan finds the poem. He stuffs it in his pocket as Moiraine arrives with news of her going home. He vows to never leavie her. Warning that that last battle is approaching, she claims to have chosen him as her Warder because he can survive on his own. She says when they thought they defeated the Dark One, they actually broke the seal and set Ishameal free. He reminds her of the oath he took as her Warder. She assures him that they will never be equals before admitting to letting Rand live because of her loyalty.
Fishing Village –The Dark One’s (Fares Fares) Army captures Perrin and his group. Ingtar appears to be walking around the wreckage freely.
Forgate, Cairhien – A manager informs Rand that he being promoted and will take over Yann’s patients. Rand tells his first patient, Logain Ablair (Alvaro Morte) that they have a lot in common. The episode comes to an end.

Wheel Of Time Review
The acting isn’t always believable. The information is a bit much to take in. The dialogue is uninteresting and cringeworthy. This far into the series, it is doubtful any improvement is on the horizon.
