What Is New On The BBC iPlayer This Week? Boat Story, Two Doors Down, Kin, And When Blondie Came to Britain

The BBC iPlayer is adding tons of new content for the week of November 18 to November 24. Viewers will have access to the Irish crime drama Kin, the Australian crime drama Scrublands, and a new documentary following girl group STAND UNIQU3.

Other new additions include Julius Caesar: The Making of a Dictator, Two Doors Down, and When Blondie Came to Britain.

Boat Story

Boat Story will be available on BBC iPlayer starting Sunday, November 19. The series follows two strangers who discover illegal drugs on a washed-up boat. They believe the drugs could change their lives for the better, but a vengeful mob boss will be eager to reclaim what they’ve taken. With a hitman hot on their trail, they’ll need to work together to survive.

Such Brave Girls

Such Brave Girls is coming to the iPlayer on November 22. The BBC Three comedy explores life, love, and the ugly chaos surrounding both. Two girls, Josie and Billie, and their mother, Deb, will attempt to build a better life.

Kin

Irish crime drama Kin is coming to the iPlayer on November 21. When a boy is killed, his family will become involved in an impossible gangland war with a ruthless international cartel. The Kinsellas are a local crime family that will be pitted against the larger Cunningham cartel. The series stars Ciaran Hinds, Aidan Gillen, and Charlie Cox.

Junior Eurovision: STAND UNIQU3’s Road To Nice

This documentary will be available on November 24. It follows STAND UNIQU3 as the group auditions for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Scrublands

Australian crime drama Scrublands is coming to the BBC iPlayer on November 18. The series is based on the award-winning novel by Chris Hammer. A small town changes forever when it is embroiled in a mass killing carried out by a priest.

Julius Caesar: The Making Of A Dictator

This gripping history series will explore the overthrow of Roman democracy in 16 years. Viewers will learn how Julius Caesar consolidated power to become the most powerful Roman ruler. The series will be available on November 20.

Two Doors Down

The seventh series of Two Doors Down is coming to the iPlayer on November 24. The prior series are already available. Enjoy the humorous scenes as Eric and Beth try to deal with their nosey neighbors.

When Blondie Came To Britain

This entertainment documentary details Blondie’s relationship with Britain. Furthermore, it will detail how the United Kingdom was so important in Blondie’s rise to stardom.

Interview With The Vampire

Interview With The Vampire, co-directed by Levan Akin, debuted on June 24, 2021, on AMC. The series is an adaptation of Anne Rice’s 1976 novel of the same name.

The series is set in New Orleans, where Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) runs several brothels. As a Black man, Louis faces some discrimination by wealthy white men. Louis’ life changes when he meets a French vampire, Lestat de Lioncourt.

Interview With The Vampire, co-written by Jonathan Ceniceroz, Rolin Jones, David B. Harris, and Ben Philippe, is currently available on BBC iPlayer.
