Acorn TV is an American video subscription streaming service offering foreign television. The service is available on various devices including Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV. It offers programs from the United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, Spain, and Mexico.
The company boasted 430,000 paid subscribers as of December 31, 2016. Acorn TV subscribers will gain access to new content this month, including the Australian hit ‘Anzac Girls’. This month, the service will add the following shows and movies.

The 1900 Island is a four-part series that follows four modern families as they are transported back 100 years to the beginning of the 20th Century. They’ll need to adapt rapidly to their new environment to survive.
Australian’s Anzac Girls is a 6-part series that first aired in 2014. The series details the bravery of five Australian and New Zealand army nurses serving in World War 1. It stars Georgia Flood, Caroline Craig, Anna McGahan, and Antonia Prebble. Both shows are scheduled for release on February 3, 2020.
