Narelle (Morgana O’Reilly) sits with them. Ruby (Rarriwuy Hick) notices that there is something odd going on between Rita and Narelle. Next, Kaz tries to smooth things over with Marie (Susie Porter). She complains about Rita not killing Kaz yet. Ruby speaks with her sister alone. Rita is forced to admit that Narelle knows the truth. Rita promises to take care of it. Marie tries to convince Will to make the transfer. He promises to think about it. Vera (Kate Atkinson) gets an ultrasound of her baby.

He learns about the baby and its gender. Vera tells Miller all about her mother. Liz gets ready for the conjugal. Marie goes to Kaz. Kaz promises to keep the secret. However, she wants Marie to drop her relationship with Will. Marie seems willing to cooperate. She blames Vicky for her own troubles. Sean offers to help Vicky out with drugs.

Rita tells Kaz about Narelle and her demands. She comes clean about being a cop. Kaz believes she can help Rita get Marie’s papers. Sean tries to convince Linda to place another big bet. She falls for it. Jake enters. It seems like Sean and Jake might have had a romantic relationship in the past or something along those lines. Jake doesn’t want it anymore since Vera is having his baby. Vera gets flowers and an apology from Greg. Kaz goes through Marie’s paperwork. They fight before Kaz sees who is protecting Marie. She prepares to tell, but is stopped by Greg Miller. She attends a session with the doctor. Then, we see Kaz walk down the hallway. Someone grabs her from behind and slices her throat. Kaz begins writing on blood. She gets M and a partial A written before passing.

Wentworth Review

I haven’t been too impressed with Wentworth this season. This episode had the potential to be spectacular. Unfortunately, it fell through. It was pretty clear early on that Vince was going to die. That was too predictable. So, is Kaz really dead? I wouldn’t be surprised. It felt like the writers were setting that up from the very beginning. While I was eager for a main character to die, Kaz’s death wasn’t even satisfying. It just felt sloppy and rushed.

It should set up some interesting storylines from here on out though. The episode scores a 6.5 out of 10. Catch up with previous recaps of Wentworth right now.

  1. I don’t know why I found it funny with the Linda and Sean scene, alongside him trying to set her up with those bets.. our deputies in some trouble…

bloody hell though, shame it was Kaz, and not Liz imo.

    1. lol! Yea, I thought that was somewhat funny and cheesy too. I had a feeling Kaz might be on her way out. Too many past events coming back to haunt her. I agree though. Liz should have been gone a long, long time ago. They should have let her die in the shower last season.

    1. I call it like I see it! lol :p

I gave the show a lot of praise back in the day. The first few seasons were some of the best television during that time. Thanks for the comment.

  2. Why would you want Liz To die earlier? I love her character. I think the way she dies in the end of the season is a perfect way GeForce her character to die. And I think all the seasons have been very well done, including season 7, love how the end of the season really wraps everything up. Well done producers and actors, very well done!

    1. Just way too drug out and unrealistic for me. Not the most realistic portrayal of a person with dementia to say the least. She was almost killed twice or something and they still found a way to keep her alive and drag her out until the very end of the episode which they suspected was going to be the last.
