Warrior Series 1 Episode 5 Recap

At the start of the episode, Ah Sahm (Andrew Koji) and Young Jun (Jason Tobin) ride in a carriage. They’re supposedly taking the body of a relative somewhere. The others in the wagon aren’t too fond of them. Ah Sahm and Jun are ridiculed all the way. Soon, they arrive in a small town and enter the tavern. Young Jun takes the coffin inside with them. The locals are not too happy with them. A cowboy enters and asks for a bed. He is offered a bed and a woman. He turns down Wankeia (Rachel Colwell) because she is Indian.

Warrior Review

Initially, I thought this episode was going to be a sidestep and a waste of time. In a way, it was. The start of the episode was a little slow. The cowboy who caused all of the trouble was a red herring. Still, it managed to pull things together in the end. We got to see some relationship building between Young Jun and Ah Sahm. It was cool that Lu encouraged Ah Sahm to find something worth fighting for. That is likely setting something up for future episodes.

The action scenes weren’t bad either. The episode scores a 7.5 out of 10. Catch up with past recaps of Warrior before you leave!
