Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan Review
All the pieces are laid out nicely on the game board for the final showdown. I really enjoyed watching all the roles and characters develop in such a shot time, and can’t wait to find out how it ends. The “Ade” twist was not something I was expecting while Zeyara wasn’t as much of a surprise. Either way, I felt it was pulled off nicely. The vault breach at the Casino was put together really well, but the one thing I did not care for was Cathy’s escape. There was just something about it that felt rushed.
Although sentimental enough, I also didn’t much care for the way Chao died. I feel like it would have been more gratifying if he died instantly. All in all, not a horribly boring plot with a lot of interesting aspects. Nothing seemed really farfetched, which is always a plus with action these days.
