With the second season of The Red Road set to premiere on April the 2nd, Sundance TV has gifted us with a trailer. Although looks can be deceiving, it appears the series will double down on the action. We see glimpses of home invasions, police interrogations and plenty of intense moments. The show is also adding to cast, with the likes of Eileen Grubba, Billy Slaughter and David DeSantos. The second season will retain the formula of six hour long episodes, with the old cast returning, including Jason Moma, Martin Henderson, Kiowa Gordon and Julianne Nicholson.
From the trailer, it is difficult to determine much of a plot. It does appear Junior and Rachel have continued their relationship. Some intense moments are shown between Phillip Kopus and Harold Jensen, which Kopus bloody and being interrogated, at one point. Of course, the scenes showing the hooded home invaders are certainly captivating.
With the debut only a month away, it’ll be interested to see how the conflict plays out and how Norman Reed (Not Reedus), plays a role. Anyway, the trailer can be found here. Enjoy.
