The Longest Night Review
One of the best episodes of the season. We find out that Sara spent time in Baruca for murdering her parents. She is familiar with Carmela and Cherokee who she played chess over the phone. This is my first time being introduced to Laia Manzanares. Her performance has been splendid from the start.
I am still taken aback by Luis Callejo’s performance. He reminds me of Anthony Hopkins when he played Hannibal Lecter in “The Silence of the Lambs.” I look forward to seeing him in future roles.
Lennon now knows that Sara has been collecting pictures of him and his men. What did she have in mind?
My biggest complaint is the poor cinematography. The color, camera movement and shots are off by a long shot. Some of the scenes are worse than others. If you can overlook the cinematography discrepancies, you may find yourself enjoying the show.
The episode deserves a 6.5. Get more of The Longest Night recaps here. Support Reel Mockery by clicking the link to learn more.
