As the episode begins, Louisa (Keeley Hawes) speaks with Margo (Daisy Waterstone) and Leslie (Callum Woodhouse) about their days. Leslie explains that he got a telegram from Larry (Josh O’Connor). He will be bringing home a Prince after he returns from Athens. Louisa begins working diligently to prepare the home. In the morning, Theo (Yorgos Karamihos) pays a visit. Spiros (Alexis Georgoulis) agrees to buy champagne for their new friend. Meanwhile, Larry runs into Creech (James Cosmo). He is down on his luck, but hasn’t changed much otherwise. Jeejee promises to be an entertaining guest. He tells the family about his encounter with a lion and how it convinced him to live each day as if it was his last. Louisa likes him right away. Louisa and Gerald set the flamingoes free. At the end of the episode, the family receives a gift from Jeejee. It turns out to be sloth.
The Durrells In Corfu Review
This was another good episode of the Durrells. It was nice to see Creech back and Jeejeebuoy was a great side character. It is surprising to see Leslie doing so well in his new job. I doubt that is going to last too long. Is there a chance that he and Daphne will actually get together in the end? I enjoyed the episode thoroughly. It scores an 8 out of 10.
