The ABC Murders Review

I know The ABC Murders has gotten terrible reviews on IMDB and elsewhere. Most people complain about the creative liberties being taken by the writers. That is definitely a problem if you’re unable to look past the novel. Myself, I didn’t mind the first episode. It was a little bit everywhere though and the pacing is slightly too fast. The killer has already managed to murder two victims. I figured things would play out a little slower. The good news is that the acting is very good.

I enjoyed the dark, gloomy atmosphere and Poirot being shunned by the newcomers. It isn’t a homerun by any means, but I didn’t mind it. I’d give the first episode a 7 out of 10.
