He tells her that Megan was his wife. Lau doesn’t want to believe it. David meets up with Felix. David wants to speak in private. Felix explains that nobody with a career wants to be seen with him. David asks about Megan’s body. He tells Felix about Jonah and the gunshot theory. Felix tells him that Tsui told him to leave it alone. David requests to see Megan’s body. Jonah listens to the television talk about the Xo HK International protests. Sally gets a call, while Felix checks David into the morgue. Sally calls Jonah. She explains that Sally’s body has gone missing. In the morning, Jonah rushes to the department and requests to speak with Tsui. He argues with the detective. Tsui promises that they’ve launched a full investigation. He doesn’t seem to care otherwise.

Tsui explains that the examination claims that there was no gunshot. Jonah listens to the voicemail again. This time, the message doesn’t contain the gunshot. He immediately blames the police. Tsui insists that Jonah was simply mistaken. Jonah becomes enraged. He visits David once again. He finds Lau and apologizes to her. Jonah pleads to speak with her for a minute. He is eventually let inside. Jonah tells Lau about the voicemail. He believes that the message was meant for Lau. Jonah explains that Megan insisted she couldn’t have children. Jonah gives her the cell phone. He explains he needs Lau’s help, because he cannot trust the police. Lau listens to the audio and cries.

Lau tells Jonah about Por Toyo Bay. The sun doesn’t set over it. She explains that it is a joke. Jonah asks her about the restaurant. If she does, he will never bother her again. He agrees to show him. Sally returns home. She calls out for Ben. She finds him dead in the bathtub. David is shown at a gambling room. He speaks with Allen Ma (Orion Lee). David asks Allen about the autopsy on Megan. David insists he knows who Allen is being played by. Jonah and Lau head to the restaurant. Jonah tries to smooth things over with Lau. They make it to the building. Jonah looks through the building. He finds pictures of Megan and the family. The restaurant has pictures of Megan, David, Jonah and Lau.

Jonah wonders why Megan did all of this. Lau decides to leave. She cannot handle it. David attacks Allen. David forces him to tell the truth. Megan was shot. Felix speaks with Sally. Sally blames herself for his suicide. Afterwards, Sally checks Ben’s phone. Michael answers. Michael asks where Ben is. He learns about Ben’s death. Michael wants to know what is going on. He promises he won’t print anything. Lau meets up with Becky (Kae Alexander). Becky tells her how she got released from the station. Lau explains her former cop dad got her out. Lau tells Becky about her mother’s death. Felix’s car arrives. Jonah searches through the property more. Lau tells her friend about Megan’s secret life.

After a little back and forth, Lau kisses Becky. They make out. Someone records them nearby. Jonah turns his attention to the bathroom. He finds two passports. One is for Lau. It says that she is American. The other one is for Megan. The last name is Walker on both.

Strangers Review

Strangers or White Dragon is okay, but forgettable. The mystery is decent. The acting isn’t bad. However, it is just lacking something that I cannot put my finger on. I guess none of the characters really stand out. That is really a shame, because the show could be really good. The episode scores a 6.5 out 10. Catch up with previous recaps of Strangers now!
