Savage River Review
The investigation progresses after Ivy comes clean about Hugh’s car. Rachel discovers a shoe print size 9 or 10 near where Ivy, Tim, and Kaji found the car. A torn CBD Apartments’ letterhead leads Rachel to the nearby women’s hospital maternity ward. Rachel and Kirby assume Hugh impregnated Laila without true evidence.
Did Hugh get killed while trying to help Laila with her pregnancy? I specifically remember Hugh confronted Kevin about the refugees’ poor living conditions. Salim is running a business on the side, which prompted him to borrow Nick’s truck. The blood in the back of Nick’s truck probably had nothing to do with Hugh since the boot of his car was a bloody mess.
We now know, Laila is alive, which Simon obviously knew all along. Did she put the baby up for adoption, after all, she returned home empty-handed?
Does Adam know more than he’s saying? If it weren’t for Rachel, Kirby would’ve neglected the investigation and charged Miki with Hugh’s murder to win the Mayoral election.
