As the 2nd episode gets underway, Cindi (Markella Kavenagh) and her friends try to carjack a woman. The victim manages to fight them off and drive away. Then, they’re surrounded by police. Cindi escapes, but the others are taken back to prison. After the intro, Zoe (Sophie Lowe) receives a message from Kane (Toby Wallace). She meets him outside. They sneak back in and have sex, while Blake (Lachy Hulme) sleeps. Then, Kane is introduced to Lyno (Fletcher Humphrys), who has just been released from jail. During this time, Cindi tries to find supplies in the trash can. Farid (Julian Maroun) works with Gabe’s (Jacqueline McKenzie) father. He wonders whether the man was a golfer when younger. Gabe says no and makes sure to turn the television off when Farid leaves.

Farid heads to the gym and speaks with his friend. He is asked about his face. Then, we’re introduced to Jago (David Wenham). Jago is told about Laila (Nicole Cahmoun). He wonders whether he can get her on his television show. He calls her and invites her on. She quickly agrees. Farid tries to talk her out of it, but she refuses to listen. The anti-fascist group learns about Laila going on the show. Blake and the Patriot Blue arrive at the studio. Laila realizes she made a bad choice when she sees Blake. Cindi manages to find a new hoody in the trash. During Jago’s show, Laila is ridiculed and bashed. The Patriot Blue boys are happy with the performance. They taunt Laila outside. Cindi gets food from the anti-fascist group, as they give food to the homeless. Meanwhile, Farid’s friends taunt an Australian girl.

Her boyfriend tries to fight them off. He beats up two, but the martial arts guy finally brings him down. Blake speaks with his boys. Zoe tells them about the upcoming immigration reform bill. Then, Beau (Lester Ellis Jr.) arrives and tells them about the attack on his brother Jimmy. They agree to go out and bash the Muslims. However, Kane has a better idea. He suggests setting up night patrols to control the Muslims, drug dealers and other criminals. Blake agrees to put him in charge to let him prove his worth. Meanwhile, the attacker prays to Allah and cries. Cindi is taken in by a man who helps homeless people. When he goes to sleep, she steals some of his money. He catches her and makes sure she has enough, before letting her leave. Marco (Jeremy Lindsay Taylor) visits Gabe. He learns that Kane has returned.

Patriot Blue begins patrolling the streets. They take care of criminals and also beat up foreigners. They also manage to recruit new members along the way. Eventually, Kane runs into his sister when she tries to steal a purchase. The anti-fascist group break into the studio and change Jago’s billboard. Once they’re finished, it shows a picture of Jago kissing Blake.

Romper Stomper Review

The second episode of Romper Stomper was much, much better than the previous one. In fact, this one was pretty dang good. The show is very controversial. I am really surprised it was even allowed to air on television. It had to receive a lot of criticism along the way. The only thing that really sucks about the show is the cheesiness of the anti-fascist group. Nevertheless, the rest of the story makes up for it. The episode was very good. It scores a 9 out of 10.
