He worries that the construction will take business away from the Moonshine. Jill thinks he should sell it to the developers and cash out like she did. Lidia does her best to get a job. She even tries Happy Endings Elder Care where everyone gets a happy ending. Wes (JD Martin) tells Sammy that he is crashing in his van which is nearby. He invites Sammy to take a tour of his van. She argues that Lidia shouldn’t be spending her time cleaning toilets. Ryan says she can count on him. Oscar asks Rhian if she wants to talk about what happened. When she finds the contract, she notices it is in Oscar’s handwriting. She questions what he has done because it has the name “WesWorld” on it. Rhian explains that he agreed to host a party for the enemy. They talk to Ken about ways to protect the land, including proving it is a historical site. Ken says they need to make the developers regret the day they sunk a penny into that land. He questions how they’re going to do that.

During the party, Rhian looks for Lidia. Ken and Oscar try to figure out which one is the developer. Ryan gets high with Lidia outside. Lidia insists this lifestyle is a choice and not a cry for help. Sammy joins them to say he let the guy think he was a low-level aristocrat. Inside, Terry asks Nora if she has seen Lidia. Moonshine Review

The third season of Moonshine sets up a potential showdown between Lidia and Wes. His development could potentially run Moonshine, but Lidia and the gang won’t go down without a fight. The cast has returned so individuals who liked these characters are going to be thrilled to see them back. Truthfully, Moonshine is going to be a series that some people will like and others will hate. It’ll depend on the viewers’ preferences and whether they enjoy the type of humor presented here.

Personally, I’d have to side with the viewers who don’t really enjoy Moonshine although certain aspects are better than others. When the episode focused on its serious side, it showed some promise. Unfortunately, this isn’t a series I could recommend and I probably couldn’t sincerely enjoy it.

The humor didn’t work for me because I found it a little too juvenile and annoying. Aside from a few serious moments, the characters were obnoxious. Many of the storylines set up in this episode have been done many times before so there isn’t much in terms of originality. Viewers who find the comedy scenes humorous will undoubtedly enjoy Moonshine’s third season much more than I did.

This episode scores a 5 out of 10. Recaps of Moonshine can be found on Reel Mockery here. Find out how to support our independent site at this link. Learn more about advertising on Reel Mockery here.
