As the second episode of MILF of Norway begins, Lars (Tronda Fausa) and Lene (Mariann Hole) talk about the bathroom being a money pit. Lars explained they put a camera down there and found out they’ll have to unclog everything. It’s not covered by insurance either. Mons takes pictures of Lene in her traditional outfit because she intends to sell it. Lars reminds her that she just bought it, but Lene argues they need money for the bathroom. Lene learns she’s getting likes on the drunken photo so she tells Kikki later. She reveals she’s received 37 likes on the random photo. Kikki is sick of the whole thing and would prefer to just delete it. She hasn’t talked to Pal and she’s not going to. Kikki (Henriette Faye Schjoll) asks Lene to delete the photo.

Some girls bully Mons (Fridtjof Beer Roland) by pretending to offer him a ride before speeding away. Lars and his legal assistant Aleksandra Rehman start today’s webinar by talking about future authorizations. Aleksandra makes him restart because she wants to introduce herself. The second time, they’re interrupted by a coworker who tells them they’ve received an inquiry from a Per Martin Holsbrekken. Lars remembers the rapper since he grew up there. At home, Lene looks at pictures of breasts until Lars returns home. He tells her the workers are coming and they have a new client at work. Lars explain that one of the rapper’s songs has been plagiarized. The workers arrive moments later.

Before Lars leaves, Lene agrees to go to the wine shop. Lene struggles to focus because of the workers and decides to leave. She goes to her father’s house and contacts him to ask for his Wi-Fi password. It may be a problem with the router. Then, she says she has to go because she has a meeting. Lene calls to see if she can get a job. Pal (John Emil Jorgensrud) comes over to work on the router. Lene checks InsideFans and learns she has 75 likes and 13 comments including guys asking where she went. The comment count goes higher as people beg for more pictures. While she’s away, Pal looks at Lene’s computer and sees the photo in question. Per Martin catches up with Lars and Aleksandra. He tells them the song is Norwegian hip-hop history so they should fight for it. The other rapper is called Aimen.

Per Martin claims the beats are his. An expert told him you only need three notes before it’s considered theft. Aleksandra says they need a huge amount of expertise before they think about suing. They discuss possible experts to bring him. Lene learns more about InsideFans and how users can monetize their content. Kikki interrupts to check on her. As they talk, Lene keeps track of her InsideFans account. Her photo has received 119 likes. Lene pretends she deleted the account. At home, Mons tells Lars that he’s not going on the excursion. He claims he has something else. He reminds Lene he’s been to The Storting before. Lene offers to transfer some money so he can do The Storting first and he can buy shoes afterwards. When she shows him her phone, Mons asks why she’s getting a message from that porn site.

Lene doesn’t want to talk about it and quickly changes the subject. Next, she catches up with Ebbe and claims she was planning on starting a business anyway. She wants to speak to Jon who is working upstairs. He comes down seconds later. When they speak in private, Jon says he hopes they can put this behind them. Jon admits it’s been awful and he’s only just started sleeping well again. Lene asks why she was fired and not another. She questions whether Jon is sleeping with her. Lene thought she came to reconcile but she was wrong. She takes her chair and other belongings on her way out. Lene runs into Mons on the bus. She wants to order a pizza and enjoy themselves tonight. Per Martin asks Lars if he’d like to grab a beer someday. Later, Lars and Lene listen to Pal and Kikki talk about their upcoming trip.

Pal learns Mons got a VR kit as a confirmation gift. He messed around with it. Lene checks her bank account and realizes it’s running low. When they’re alone, Lars asks Lene if Pal and Kikki are arguing. He won’t go on holiday with them if they’re going to be like that. Lene wants to talk to him about something, but a call from PM prevents that from happening. She checks the InsideFans profile and finds more comments pleading with her to come back with more photos. Someone asks how much for gold pics. Perry77 tips her $200. Then, she finds a bunch of other tips totaling $850. The next day, Lene takes more photos until Lars walks in on her.

 

MILF Of Norway Review

The second episode of MILF of Norway was somewhat enjoyable, but it’s probably time to stop calling this a comedy. Some side stories are a little drawn out and it’s hard to know if they’re going to add anything to the core story. The shaky camera wasn’t as bad in this episode, but it was still obnoxiously noticeable at times.

The characters are fairly relatable and the same can be said about their unique situations. The performances are strong enough to carry the series. Lene’s story is easily the most interesting. In this episode, she learned that her InsideFans picture had attracted a lot of attention and even brought in $850 in tips. She needs that money more than ever since she is unemployed and a clogged bathroom drain is going to cost the family a ton of money.

Pal may or may not have learned about her little side hustle. Lene told Kikki that she deleted the InsideFans profile. Lars has a new client, an old rapper who claims someone has plagiarized his song. Mons is being bullied by local girls. Overall, the episode was enjoyable even though it isn’t humorous. It’s intriguing watching Lene sneak around and lie to everyone about her online activities.

It’s also good that the show hasn’t really glamorized the idea. I am pleasantly surprised that I’ve enjoyed the series more than I thought it would even if the humor is nonexistent.
