Love Me Review
The show is decent, but I would’ve liked to have seen more action and a lot less talking. When the characters speak super-fast, it overwhelms what little action has taken place. When I am forced to repeatedly push rewind to interpret the dialogue, I lose interest. Besides, super-fast dialogue makes the characters look uncompelling.
The graphic sex scenes seem a bit out of place. Some people will disagree but that is perfectly fine, as it is only my opinion. I found the masturbation scene repulsive.
The acting is decent, and the characters are believable when they are not speed-talking. Hugo Weaving’s performance was outstanding in the final scene. I truly felt sorry for him.
After they ironed out a few kinks, I found myself actually enjoying the show. The episode deserves a 5.5. Get more Love Me recaps here. Support Reel Mockery by clicking on the link to learn more.
