Channel 4 has announced that PopMaster is returning for a second series. Channel 4 commissions 12 Yard Productions to create an extended second series of the hit music quiz show for digital channel More4. The new series will consist of 16 60-minute episodes presented by legendary DJ Ken Bruce. It will also include two celebrity specials and more music, more questions, and more opportunities for guests to showcase their musical trivia prowess.

The upcoming series will be filmed in Glasgow. PopMaster TV pits five contestants against each other to test their music knowledge over six knockout rounds. The rounds include, “Intros, Middles, and Ends”, “Video Gaga”, “Pop Years”, and “It’s Only Words”. Then, two players will compete in the “Original PopMaster” round with the winner going on to play a “3 in 10” round. If they can correctly tackle the final round, the contestant will take home the PopMaster TV gold disc.
