Chauncey says the minute Lidia took Yannick Mair’s (Michael John Treanor) money, she was dead. She utilizes her hand to muffle her cries. When Felipe Calero (Jose Luis Garcia Perez) approaches, she claims to have been searching for him. He asks why she didn’t stay where he left her, putting his right hand on his gun. She says I am happy to have found you. He wants to know why she isn’t happy and scared. She says I am because of what I am about to do before kissing him. She thanks him for rescuing her earlier. He offers to drive her back to her hotel. She refuses his offer, but he insists because the city is dangerous.
Chris orders her to tell Felipe she is staying in the Hotel Josefina. Chris asks Chauncey what he is doing. He claims to be saving Jenny’s life by calling audible. On the way to the hotel, Felipe claims to know people who stayed there. He asks what side of the hotel her room is on. She says the south. Laughing, she claims to have forgotten her phone.
Chris and Chauncey make a room at the Hotel Josephina look lived-in. Chris asks where the stuff came from. He orders him to burn a photo of Jenny, with two boys. He shows them a newspaper article about an undocumented immigrant killing law enforcement officer Eduardo Santos who is Felipe’s brother-in-law. Felipe is utilizing his brother-in-law’s murder to brainwash young men into believing the prime minister who is liberal is ruining their country. Jenny doesn’t believe Felipe is the one in control.

In From The Cold Review
Jenny continues to interject herself into some very dangerous situations. The question still remains will Chauncey set her free when the case is closed. Another scenario would be for her to die while trying to regain her freedom from the CIA. The agency’s treatment of informants has been questioned time and time again.
The acting remains topnotch. Sometimes, I find myself pinching my arm just to ensure the show is not real. Seriously, the main cast does a fabulous job getting the story across.
I do feel the series should’ve only been six episodes, instead of eight. Utilizing filler scenes like the one where Chauncey meets Ohana and her crew is just one example. The scene provided no significance to the show.
The episode deserves a 7. Get more In From The Cold recaps here. Support ReelMockery by clicking the link to learn more.
