FOX Nation has signed a new, multi-year deal with current FOX News primetime host Tucker Carlson to provide flagship content for the digital platform. Carlson will create a new video podcast and a series of in-depth specials titled Tucker Carlson Originals.
Starting in April, the top-rated FOX News host will release at least three new video podcast episodes each week. The episodes will feature interviews with newsmakers and discussions of the issues impacting the country. The Tucker Carlson Originals series will debut in April and continue monthly.
Each episode will explore a single topic in greater depth than what is normal during a television show. Of the announcement, Tucker Carlson said, “This is my twelfth year at FOX News and I’ve never been more grateful to be here. As other media outlets fall silent or fall in line, FOX News Media’s management has redoubled its commitment to honesty and freedom of speech.”
This content will be produced by the team behind Carlson’s hit show Tucker Carlson Tonight and will be led by Senior Executive Products Justin Wells. Tucker Carlson Tonight is one of the top-rated shows in cable news history with Nielsen Media Research showing the program averaged 3.6 million viewers last month.
FOX Nation is available on iOS devices, Android devices, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, Roku, Xbox One, Vizio SmartCast, and more.
