BBC has released the first images for its upcoming five-part thriller Better which is shot and set in Leeds. The series digs deeper into the bonds of family and loyalty in a world where everyone has their own opinions regarding right and wrong. Better is produced by SISTER which is known for This is Going to Hurt and Chernobyl.
Four exclusive images and a minute-long teaser video have been released to give viewers a glimpse into the gripping new drama which stars Leila Farzad and Andrew Buchan. The story follows DI Lou Slack, portrayed by Leila Farzad, as she attempts to redeem herself by bringing down Col McHugh (Andrew Buchan) who she has come to love like a brother.
Col will prove to be a dangerous rival although Lou’s biggest battle may be within herself. Filming for Better has already concluded with the series expected to air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in 2023. Further details can be found here.
