Creamerie Season 2 Episode 1 Recap

season 2 episode 1 creamerie alex and jaime

As this episode of Creamerie begins, Jaime (JJ Fong), Pip (Perlina Lau), and Alex (Ally Xue) try to fight off the men. Pip becomes concerned when she sees more enemies coming down the stairs. Bobby (Jay Ryan) begins fighting back even though he is restrained in a chair. Although they escape, they end up getting stuck in a freezer. Pip argues that Jackson (Yoson An) betrayed them more than she did. They soon learn that they’re in the room with the assets. The guards try to lure them out. Pip and the others use the sperm vials to move past the guards without being captured.

Bobby kicks a piece of glass over to one of the victims. That man uses the glass to free himself and run up the stairs. Once they run up the stairs, Daniel tells them his name. Bobby thinks they should help the good boys, but Daniel says they shouldn’t worry about them. Pip wonders how many times she is going to have to apologize to Jaime. Bobby gets the door open, but the men don’t want to leave because there is trauma and sickness outside. They push Bobby out and use the intercom to tell the guards where they are. Bobby and the others make it to the roll-up door but can’t get it open. They block the other door to stop the guards from reaching them.

Pip climbs up and uses the chain to lift the door so Bobby can slide under it. The others make it out, but Pip gets pulled back inside by the guards. As they drive away, Daniel tells them that there are more men at a safe place. Daniel and Hamish got sick of the real safe place. They tried to make it off on their own and ended up getting stuck in that place. Alex asks if there is anyone with a moon tattoo on their arm at the safe place. Daniel says yes and calls them the Sisterhood. Alex believes he was with the Resistance. When they approach the northern checkpoint, they have to decide whether to turn around or continue.

Alex and Jaime sit up front and try to get through the checkpoint by claiming they’re with the Department of Conservation. Bobby becomes concerned when the guard catches them in a lie. He notices that another man is hiding with them. The guard threatens to press the button unless Alex and Jaime tell her why they need through. When the guard is distracted, they attack her and try to prevent her from pushing the button. Jackson jumps out of the truck and runs after Jamie and Alex take care of the guard. Bobby catches up with Jackson and beats him up. Alex yells for him to stop because she needs to speak to him. Later, Jackson comes to.

He claims he was trying to escape. Bobby doesn’t believe that, but Jackson insists she got into his head. Alex tries to get the truth from him while Jaime goes through his stuff. Alex thinks they should take him to the real safe place and find out more. She believes what Jackson is saying. Bobby suggests Jackson hid in the back of the ute so he could go out and get more meat. When Daniel agrees with Bobby, he says it has been decided because it is two against one. Alex tries to get Jaime to speak up and help Jackson. Bobby prepares to hang him. Jaime has a picture of an ultrasound. On the back, it says “our miracle Jane”.

She starts breaking down. Jaime jumps out of the ute, runs over, and cuts the rope around Jackson’s rope. If anyone is going to kill Jackson, it’ll be Jaime because he was her husband. Jackson grabs the button and pushes it, but Jaime reveals that she took the battery out. She says they’re going to the real safe place and they’ll bring Daniel’s friends back to storm Lane’s crap. Daniel doesn’t want to do that because the Sisterhood could die if Jackson escapes. Jaime stabs Jackson in the leg so he can’t escape. Pip finds her hands cuffed. Lane (Tandi Wright) approaches her to find out where they’ve taken Daniel and Bobby, but Pip doesn’t have a clue. Lane reveals she has asked Dr. Garvey to assist in this matter.

Garvey brings in a machine that she intends to use to extract information from Pip.

Creamerie Review

The opening episode of Creamerie’s second season was surprisingly enjoyable. This probably isn’t going to be for everyone because the humor can be a little off-putting at times, but it may be for viewers who don’t take the story too seriously. The humor isn’t always on target although some of the scenes are genuinely funny.

The characters are mostly likable even if they can be a little annoying from time to time. The episode did a good job of setting up the main story for the season. Bobby and the girls will need to meet with the Sisterhood so they can return to Lane’s headquarters to save Pip.

Overall, this episode was silly and fun. Although it won’t be for everyone, some will enjoy the silliness of the story and the camaraderie of the main characters. The episode scores a 6.5 out of 10.
