As the 5th episode of Creamerie begins, Pip (Perlina Lau) puts on her seatbelt while telling Alex (Ally Xue) she is going to get Bobby back and her friend Jaime too. She refuses to drive any faster because they’re in a residential zone. Jaime (JJ Fong) watches from the back as Bobby (Jay Ryan) tries to figure out where the hunter is taking him. Jaime searches the truck bed for something she can use to stop Hunter (Sara Wiseman). She finds a shovel and darts that appear to be filled with some type of drug. Once the vehicle stops, Jaime watches as the hunter pulls Bobby out of the truck and drags him inside the nearby building. Alex realizes Pip lost them so she complains that her priorities are screwed up. Since they’re at a crossroads, they have to pick a direction randomly and go with it.
Jaime sneaks into the build with the shovel while hearing Bobby tells the hunter to get off of him. Bobby accuses her of killing Thomas before Jaime attempts to stop her from shooting him. When attempting to defend herself, it is clear that Jaime is hopeless. She ends up throwing the darts at the hunter and one of them miraculously sticks in her chest. The medication knocks her out. She transports Bobby away from the building in the hunter’s pickup truck. As they drive, Bobby admits he didn’t think she had it in her. She reveals she also has a baby in her. Bobby wants to know if she is positive the baby belongs to him. Alex and Pip find the building where Bobby was being kept. A sign outside says, “phone home for just $5”. Pip believes Jaime is sending them a message and knows where to go. Once they find them, Jaime explains the message referred to ET since they find him near the town’s storm drain.
They watched the movie every birthday for like seven years so Pip remembered it. When Bobby asks what ET is about, Alex says it is the alien who looks like a shaved nut sack. Pip doesn’t like that and immediately tells Alex to shut up because she is not as funny as she thinks. Pip says the movie is about friendship before Jaime comforts her. As they leave in the car, Bobby checks on Jaime. Then, Alex asks Bobby if he killed the hunter, but he says Jaime did. Jaime says otherwise since she hit her with a tranquilizer dart. Bobby now suspects the hunter wanted him alive. He wonders if he should go alone and voucher for the others when he gets in. Alex and Jaime agree, but Pip has other plans since she is heading to the nearby Wellness Center.
They plead with Pip to drive elsewhere but it is too late. The car is surrounded by Wellness guards who subdue the women and Bobby. Lane (Tandi Wright) steps out of the Wellness center to find out what is going on. As the others are hauled into the building, Lane approaches Pip and hugs her. Pip is taken to a private room as Lane knows how difficult that must’ve been for her. She wants to make sure Lane isn’t going to hurt them and that everything will return to normal. Lane says she has her word before telling her she is coming to their dinner that night. In a holding cell, Jaime asks Alex for her top so she can make a rope in hopes of escaping. Jaime messes up and throws all the shirts through the window instead of holding onto one end. When Jaime gets sick again, Alex finally realizes it is something besides bad eggs.
Then, they’re approached by Lane and two guards. She gives them outfits to wear and talks about the procedure that will make them forever free. Alex tries to convince her to let Jaime go because she is pregnant, but Lane isn’t willing to negotiate. Lane smacks them on the backsides and wonders how much fun they had with their new houseguest. Jaime wants to know where Pip is being kept. Again, Lane says things will go back to the way they were. He believes Alex’s mother is better now since she sings and dances. Before Lane leaves, she takes Jaime’s necklace. Pip gets out of the shower and finds a gift box sitting on her bed. She opens it and tries on the dress she found inside. She doesn’t like how much it shows of her body so she puts another one under it.
She heads down to dinner where Michelle and other women confront her. They tell Pip she is stunning and she is their idol. They want to know how she found a human male. Michelle takes her to her seat which is right next to Bobby. Lane tucks a napkin into his collar to ensure he doesn’t make a mess since his hands are tied with zip ties. Lane speaks to the group and encourages everyone to welcome Pip to the committee. Then, everyone says hello to Robert who quickly chugs the wine in his glass. Pip watches as he begins devouring his food. Constance (Nikki Si’ulepa) enters the cell to tell Alex they’re preparing for the surgery right now. As they argue about Constance being unable to help, Jaime finds out about their relationship. They talk a bit more. Then, Constance tells Alex goodbye before quickly leaving the cell.
Pip tells Bobby he’ll see that she did this for him at some point. Lane pays close attention to their conversation while Michelle brags about Pip to the other women. When Michelle mentions Pip’s dress, Lane tells them it was hers and she picked it for her. Lane asks Pip if she knows Bobby slept with her sister. They begin laughing until Bobby reveals he filled her cup. Lane gets upset, hits the table, and tells everyone to shut up. Pip apologizes while admitting they’re not together or anything. She tries to get them to kiss. When Pip leans over and kisses him on the cheek, Lane demands she use her tongue this time. Bobby gets angry and knocks the plate off the table. The women hold him down on the table as Lane unbuckles his pants. She begins playing with his unit to make him hard for Pip. She tells Pip to have sex with him as Constance listens nearby.
Pip is told to sleep with him or her friends will be permed. She relents and climbs on top of Bobby with the intention of doing it. Her mind changes when she looks over and sees that Lane is wearing Jaime’s necklace. She stops, says no, and tells Lane to go screw herself. She thought Lane wanted to change the world, but she only wanted to rebuild the old one with herself at the top. She calls her a cliché, shriveled, old beotch. Pip tells Lane she just doesn’t see the appeal anymore. Constance is told to take Pip to be forever freed with her friends. Pip tries to fight, but she is quickly subdued. Meanwhile, the operation nearly begins for Jaime and Alex. A drill is used to bore a hole through Alex’s head.
Creamerie Review
In the 5th episode of Creamerie, Pip was forced to make a difficult decision. Unfortunately, she made the worst possible decision and ended up hurting Jaime, Alex, and Bobby. She had good intentions but was ultimately duped by Lane. Now, all of them are in serious trouble.
We finally got to see the real Lane underneath the wool she has been pulling over everyone’s eyes. Pip wanted to be a member of the committee and nearly did the unthinkable to get a seat at the table. With only one episode left, she’ll have to help the others escape so they can save Bobby and find out the truth. The episode scores a 6.5 out of 10.
