As the fourth episode of Creamerie begins, Bobby (Jay Ryan) is taken to the coordinates although they don’t find anything of interest in the area. Jaime (JJ Fong) reveals she doesn’t like any of it. When Bobby asks what is wrong, Alex (Ally Xue) explains that the man bonfires were here and her brother died here in quarantine. They agree it is a pretty messed up place to have a secret hideout for men. Bobby and Alex decide to get out to use the bathroom so Pip and Jaime remain in the car. As Bobby approaches Alex, he notices a red gun dot on her head and both immediately realize something is wrong. After that, Pip (Perlina Lau) wonders whether they should just go back, but Jaime doesn’t think that is possible now.

Soon, they spot Alex and Bobby running back to the vehicle with Hunter (Sara Wiseman) following them with a rifle in her hands. Hunter watches as the car drives in circles before finally speeding down another road. She shoots the car once only. In the csar, Alex learns that Bobby knows Hunter because she shot his friend Thomas about 14 days ago Pip gets angry that he didn’t tell them much sooner and instead put them in danger. She believes they were better off before Bobby entered their lives. Hunter is spotted behind them as Pip drives to drive away. They get stuck in the waiting line for Sync-Festical which is an annual celebration of menstruation. Another vehicle pulls up behind them so they have no choice but to enter the festival. Bobby is covered with blankets to keep him hidden from the women.

Once they stop, they’re confronted by Lynley (Brynley Stent) who says they’re offering carwashes and valets for charity. Although it is a bad idea, Pip signs them up for it anyway. Before long, two girls show up to take their keys for the valet and carwash. Alex claims the person under the blanket is her grandma before they exit. As they walk through the crowd, Bobby claims they’re going to be hunted down and killed. Alex claims it is best to hide in plain sight as she spots a mascot in front of them. They convince the woman to give up the costume so Bobby can wear it. As he puts it on, the women contemplate staying together or splitting up. Hunter arrives at the festival and gets stopped by a woman who likes her costume. She receives a toffee apple before continuing on her way. Then, Lane (Tandi Wright) causes a scene while walking through the crowd. As a result, Jaime and Pip get separated.

When Constance (Nikki Si’ulepa) walks by, Alex hides behind Bobby and his pink costume. While Jaime tries to find Pip, he believes Jackson (Yoson An) is standing in front of her. She soon notices it is actually some girl. Michelle (Kimberley Crossman) stops Pip to remind her that she signed up for the first shift at one of the tents. She rushes to the tent and begins painting faces while giving away gifts. As she works with the girls, she spots Hunter in the distance and immediately freaks out. She rushes from the tent just before Hunter enters to look for her. She enters the tunnel of self-love which is closed for ten minutes while the operator is away. She is surprised to run into Lane who says they closed the attraction for her so she could fully digest it. Lane asks her to join her. Back outside, Jaime continues following the girl who she believes is Jackson. She stumbles onto the Ferris Wheel and sits down next to a little girl.

She talks to Jaime about joy coming from inside before Jaime gets sick and throws up in her hands. The girl immediately realizes Jaime is pregnant although she doesn’t want to admit it. She tells Jaime she is lucky because she can’t wait to become a mother. Jaime reveals she had a little boy. The girl tells her you can’t have little boys, but Jaime says he was perfect. She talks about her mother getting her a replacement kitty when her original one was killed. She believes Jaime’s next baby will be a daughter of wellness. Jaime listens as the little girl talks about Wellness and its importance in their lives. When the ride ends, Jaime throws up again and tells the little girl to shut up. Lane tells Pip she envies her potential and wishes she should go back to being a nobody. She believes Pip is wrestling with one of the biggest landmines right now and suggests it has something to do with her houseguest.

Lane tells her where she could be in a year with more responsibilities at work and even a seat on the committee. Pip is told she can do what is right for her friends by making the right choices. Everything will go back to the way it was and possibly be even better if she just makes the right choices. She is warned they’ll all be released from the constraints of negative thinking if she makes the wrong choices. Lane instructs her to bring her guests to her before sundown. While walking around with Bobby, Alex runs into her mother who has a badge that says “I am a lucky girl”. Alex curses them for doing this to her, but she has bigger things to worry about when Hunter appears in the distance. Hunter watches as Alex’s mother pulls down Bobby’s face and exposes him while Alex tells him to run. Jaime and Pip arrive. Since Alex’s mother is hugging her tightly, she is stuck. She tells Jaime and Pip where to go.

The hunter follows Bobby and nearly gets him until a group arrives and asks him to dance for them. When Bobby makes a run for it, the hunter follows. Jaime and the others follow them seconds later. They find themselves in a tent with different types of mirrors making it hard to find out where Bobby and the hunter are. Jaime looks at one and sees herself with a pregnancy belly while Alex runs into a few mirrors. Pip talks to herself about being a successful mentor and making the right choice. The women reunite while Bobby is kneed by the hunter. She quickly injects him with something in his neck. As the hunter escorts Bobby outside, Pip finds her way by placing red makeup on the mirrors. They make it outside in time to see the hunter putting Bobby in her truck.

Pip and Alex go for the vehicle while Jaime jumps in the back of the hunter’s pickup truck. They watch the hunter drive away from the festival with Jaime in the back.

 

Creamerie Review

Creamerie is far from perfect, but it has been enjoyable regardless of the glaring flaws. While this episode had several good moments, it wasn’t as good as the prior three. It was humorous to see Bobby in the pink outfit and the festival was an interesting trip. The downside is the fact that the episode didn’t do much to push the story forward.

We need to learn more about Wellness and its involvement in the disappearance of men. Creamerie is an interesting show with an oddly unique story.
